Aquatic Classes

Enjoy exercise in our state of the art therapeutic pool. 1,489 square foot indoor, heated pool with an all-around depth of 3’9” equipped with technology that protects your water, equipment, and swimmers to ensure a clean, clear, and safe swimming environment.  

Water Aerobics

Take the plunge and try this low-impact workout that builds muscle strength and boosts your endurance. It's fun, and it can be as challenging as you like. Water aerobics class typically lasts an hour. The instructor will lead you through a series of moves, often set to music to keep you motivated. Each water aerobics class includes a warm-up, cardio and strength-training exercises, and a cooldown. Expect exercises like water walking, bicep curls, leg lifts, and kickboard moves. 

The buoyancy of the water is easy on your joints. That makes water aerobics a good choice if you have joint problems, chronic pain, or are recovering from injury. Though it's low-impact, you can make the workout harder. For example, do more repetitions of each move or go faster during the workout. 

Water Arthritis

Remember what it was like to walk without aches? Get that sensation again by taking your workout to the water.

Exercising in a pool provides nearly instant relief from pain and stiffness. Even if you don’t feel comfortable walking on land, the buoyancy of water gives you freedom of movement while providing support. This classes focuses for on joint range of motion, muscle and strength exercises.
